Organization Chart is a good indicator of whether a firm is designed to deliver promised results to all its stakeholders. Hence designing the organization structure is a key strategic activity. ProPart Insight: Organization diagrams are increasingly acquiring the characteristics of sales charts or performance graphs – dynamic and (hopefully) progressing. This is because organization structures need to respond quickly to the changes in the macro environment and business focus and strategy. Approaching organization structure like team formation helps in rapidly redesigning organization structures to respond to. One of the best practices in designing organization structures is to indicate a validity period or include a review date for its revision. The Organization Chart was reviewed and revised in May 2010. It will be next reviewed (and revised, if necessary) by May 2011.
